The GLOBE is an urban bistro offering a relaxed menu of ingredient driven and simply flavored fare. Appetizers and starters are priced at $4 to $9. Lunch items range in price from $6 to $14, while dinner plates are $12 to $18.
The space is designed with an easygoing, calm and collected decor of magnolia walls with sage, olive and gray furnishings. Jasper Morrison Glo-Ball lighting gives the interior a starry glow at night, while window walls bathe the space in daylight. The space is broken up into unique compartments: a 31-foot zinc bar with cafe tables, main dining room with a nine-foot tall banquette and 120 feet of sheer curtains for a little privacy; outdoor terrace and a tucked away library lounge. Floating bookshelves bring back a sense of academia, while backlit bar shelves extend an inviting glow. It's public institution chic.
